If you eat it, write it down

Keeping a food journal is an important step in any weight loss program.  Your journal can be as simple as carrying a small notebook to keep track of all you eat and drink. A new method that is catching on is using your phone to photograph your meals. Keeping a visual record of  how much and what you are eating is one of the best methods to keep you accountable on your goal of better eating habits.
